Event Highlights | Ziqi Lab Wins the U-start NT$1 Million Startup Grant!
The student team “Ziqi Lab” from Ming Chi University of Technology impressed the judges with their innovative visual development learning tool, StellarVision, winning the Outstanding Cultural & Educational Startup Award and a NT$1,000,000 grant in the Phase II evaluation of the Ministry of Education’s U-start Program ![]()

The award ceremony took place on November 21, with President Liu Zu-Hua, Dean of R&D Chen Sheng-Ji, and the Innovation & Incubation Center team showing full support. Professor Lee Kai-Shu from the Industrial Design Department also accompanied and coached the team throughout the process. Deputy Minister Liu Kuo-Wei personally presented the award

Ziqi Lab is formed by students from different departments and focuses on children’s visual development. Their gamified approach helps enhance spatial awareness, hand–eye coordination, and visual attention. Since Phase I, the Innovation & Incubation Center has provided guidance in legal strategies, patents, marketing, and fundraising, helping the team shine in the final evaluation
