Two student teams from Ming Chi University of Technology have successfully passed the first-stage review of the 2026 U-start Plan, winning a total of NT$1 million in startup grants!

🔹 Innovation Service Category | Team: “有點東西”

The team focuses on enhancing the efficiency and consistency of medical image annotation. By applying artificial intelligence technologies, they transform traditionally experience-dependent workflows into reproducible, quantifiable, and practically viable image analysis services.

🔹 Cultural & Creative Education Category | Team: “DMM-LAB”

The team addresses key challenges in traditional indoor gardening, including environmental burdens caused by plastic pots, root damage during repotting, and storage issues arising from irregularly sized planters. Guided by the core principles of “DIY, waste reduction, and circularity,” they provide consumers with sustainable planting solutions that integrate both aesthetics and functionality.

This achievement not only demonstrates the teams’ innovation capabilities and strong execution, but also reflects the university’s long-standing commitment to entrepreneurship education.

We sincerely thank the faculty advisors for their dedicated mentorship and professional guidance, empowering students to take their first courageous step into entrepreneurship.

Let us continue to fuel innovation and entrepreneurship, and witness more dreams come to life! 🚀🌱
