I. Program Objectives
To encourage youth to actively engage in sustainable development, the New Taipei City Youth Bureau is hosting the "2026 Impact Star: Youth Impact Competition." This program responds to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), guiding students to transform their academic expertise into tangible social impact. It is an exceptional opportunity that combines service learning with practical innovation.
II. Collaborative Partners & Support Resources
This year, we are collaborating with five benchmark social innovation organizations: Teach For Taiwan, The Can Koma, Love Care, LIS, and Hi-in Studio. We guide students to solve real-world social pain points and provide the following resources:

(1) Practice-Oriented Learning: Gain first-hand experience within social innovation organizations to enhance problem-solving skills.

(2) Comprehensive Incubation Resources: Access to free empowerment courses, mentor guidance, incubation support, and a NT$10,000 action validation grant.

(3) International & Industry Networking: Outstanding teams can receive a NT$50,000 prize and the opportunity for an international exchange trip to Singapore.
III. Eligibility & Important Dates

Target Audience: * High School Group: Current high school and vocational school students nationwide.

University Group: Current university and college students, including Master’s students.

IV. Briefing Sessions & Free Online Training
To help faculty and students master the key elements of a successful proposal, we are hosting the following events:

Kick-off Briefing Session: March 21 (Sat), 13:30-15:30.

Venue: New Taipei Youth Career Base (Physical + Online).

Online Primary Empowerment Courses: (Topics: Planning Logic, Project Management, AI Tool Training).

Dates: March 28 – April 12.

V. Submission Deadline
All proposals must be submitted by April 30, 2026.
