1. Commissioned by the Industrial Development Administration, Ministry of Economic Affairs, this competition aims to inject creativity and talent into the communications industry. It seeks to attract outstanding students to engage in innovative R&D and design, cultivate top talent in Taiwan, and support startup teams by connecting them with incubation and mentoring resources. The program also facilitates industry matchmaking across multiple areas, including product development, business partnerships, marketing, and fundraising strategies.

2. This year’s core theme focuses on:“AI-Driven Innovation in Communication Infrastructure in the Era of 5G-Advanced/6G, Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN), and Edge Computing.”The competition emphasizes empowering next-generation communications through AI technologies.

Submission areas include:

• 5G-A/6G wireless and spectrum innovation

• NTN hybrid connectivity

• Network testing and validation

• 5G/6G vertical application solutions

Submissions are expected to demonstrate deployability, scalability, manufacturability, and real-world applicability as practical technological or system solutions.

3. The total prize pool reaches up to USD 60,000. Finalist teams will also have access to comprehensive training programs and enterprise incubation resources, helping their projects align with market needs and connect with industry partners.
