【Forwarded】The Taoyuan City Government is hosting the “2026 Taoyuan Social Enterprise Entrepreneurship Competition.”
1. To encourage youth teams to engage in social innovation, sustainable development, and local practice, the Youth Affairs Bureau of the Taoyuan City Government and the Social Enterprise Center are jointly organizing this competition. The event aims to discover young people’s innovative potential, promote the development and impact management of social enterprises, and align with international trends.
2. Highlights of the Competition:
(1) Features and Key Highlights

Centered on the theme of “From Proposal to Implementation, Connecting with Taoyuan Issues,” the competition combines prize funding, capacity-building courses, professional mentoring, and resource matchmaking to help teams transform innovative ideas into practical and feasible social enterprise solutions.

The competition offers a total prize pool of NT$570,000, along with resources such as professional mentorship, corporate matchmaking, and international certification guidance to help outstanding teams expand their markets, strengthen operational models, and increase social impact.

Winning teams in the Social Enterprise Division will have the opportunity to participate in “People and Planet First” certification guidance, helping teams align with international social enterprise standards while enhancing brand visibility and sustainability capacity.
3. Competition Information
(1) Registration Period
From now until 12:00 noon, June 22, 2026 (Monday).
(2) Eligibility

Participants must be at least 15 years old.

At least half of the team members must be under 45 years old.

Previously awarded proposals are not eligible for re-entry.
(3) Competition Divisions
-
Social Enterprise Division
Proposals should apply innovative business models to address local social issues in Taoyuan and demonstrate the potential for sustainable operation. -
Social Impact Division
Organizations are encouraged to assess and present the social impact they have created by submitting a social impact report. Any project that has been implemented and generated measurable social impact is eligible to participate.
